Most of my mods were for function. Here's the break down on reason for the mods;

Red on Black Simmons Skis- better floatation and red for accent color
Simmons Powder wings- improve handeling in powder
Simmons cooling fins (ice scratchers)- keep the slides cool
Red grille inserts- for accent color
Red skid plate- protection for the belly of the beast and accent color
Red shock Covers- protect the shock seals from damage by ice and accent color
MPI Cr-Moly A-Arms- less weight by 6lbs (bent stock ones)
MPI rear transfer enhancement kit- less weight by 5lbs / better transfer
Removed anti-swaybar- less weight by 3 lbs/easier to pull up on one ski
MPI dry cell battery- less weight by 10lbs
MPI 3/4 solid riser block- raise bars but was too short (put back in when got new bars)
Sportech 2" ABR (articulating bar riser)- replaced 3/4 in solid riser (now both are used)
Red Chrome Sportech speedguards- wind protection and accent color
Red BJ Hookers 90 deg. bar hooks- keeps hands on the bars while siehilling and accent color
Lefty's DTC (dual throttle control)- better control while sidehilling to the right (left side uphill)
Minus the tool box- less weight by 4 lbs
Carb Heater shut-off- easier warm starts
Windshield bag- holds the smokes, compass, flashlight. wire ties, and knife
Tank bag- holds map, cameras (video and still), ball cap and snacks/beverages
Billet alluminum gas cap- looks cool
1" shorter/2" wider handle bars- these were what the dealer ordered when stock ones bent
Polished tunnel, deck and running boards- all about looks here
Chrome Sport windshield- powder hits me in the chest rather than face and for looks
Red Holtzman springs- better RPMs and throttle response
Red painted (anodized look) exhaust tips- accent color out back
Whitknuckle Performance QC-1 exhaust- - 11 lbs and sweet exhaust note

I wish Yamaha would build a higher horsepowered sled, because I'd buy it. I want more HP but I don't take the time to monkey with it.
