Anyone know how strong the rear bar of my Venture is? It doesn't really inspire a ton of confidence by the look/feel of it. I'm wondering if I could tow another sled from this point, either just to get it unstuck or to tow for any real distance?
PS - yes, I used it as a temporary tie down anyway in the picture, LOL.

That's where the hitch gets mounted if you put one on so its more then strong enough to tie down. That's what I do.
I had a hitch installed for my RS and am leaving it stock so it should have the pulling capability no problem.

Thanks gents, good to know. Sled Dog, do you happen to have a pic of your hitch installation?
Not handy but I will go get one. The hitch is made by Yamaha and holes were predrilled from factory on my bumper it was a simple matter of buying and bolting it on.
