Could be Tapatalk, or it's possible that there is a setting within your browser's settings menu where you can request the desktop version of a site. What browser are you using?

In the browser address bar type about:debug and hit enter.
Push the menu key to enter settings which will allow you to change the user agent string to desktop.
This is working for me on all websites so far.

More than likely, you are getting the mobile version of the site. Nothing installed. The browser does this automatically when a mobile version is available according to the type of browser the site sees. You can request the the full version of the site, as indicated above, you can force the browser to use the full version instead of the mobile site.
