How much louder is the Hurricane trail muffler compared to the stock muffler at cruising speeds. (50-100 mph)

It’s a slight bit louder, but not enough to cover up the clutch rattle.

Stock is ultra quiet and it’s louder than that, I hate loud mufflers and find it acceptable enough to keep it on and not take it off. That said I’d rather have it quiet like the stock muffler and a quiet clutch too,

Hurricane does make a stock muffler tune bundle too if you’re worried about noise levels, leave the stock muffler on it. If you use bigger pipes for flow it’s bound to make more noise than stock smaller pipes, it’s just a fact you have to live with, don’t care who’s muffler it is.

Knapp pretty much covers it. It's louder than stock but not overly obnoxious. I ran mine all last season with no problems from the "Northwoods Law" stars of Maine

It's funny how sound is totally subjective. I have talked with others who have it and say it's not louder than stock. Claim sounds the same but not tinny like the stock one. I'm hoping I don't find it to be much louder than stock since I have one on order. The biggest thing is will it pass as stock if someone doesn't know that it's not stock?

Mines quiet not tinny like stock, much cooler by the foot

The only time you notice a difference is when you're on pavement or in the garage or trailer. Once on snow you can barely tell the difference in loudness although It is definitely a deeper tone. Apex idle louder than the Winder with Daves trail exhuast.

Their is a video of it on hurricane performance Facebook page.
The sound is a deeper sound than stock.
The Michigan DNR listened to mine and said it was no louder than the 1200 skidoo I was riding with that has a stock muffler on it.

Dave's goal was for the trail muffler to be on parr with a stock modded....I believe it reaches that goal well. And it allows one to keep their stocker stock. Really great IMO.

My Stock modded has a nice sound, tad louder then stock but really stock like sound overall. I would have gone with Daves trail muffler it I hadnt got the one I have.

The TD stock mod is a very nice muffler for those that like to keep the noise level down.

With the very impressive stock muffler flashes that go up to 270hp why would you want a different muffler?just asking

After switching from stock to the quiet trail exhaust, you can now hear a lite turbo whistle sound over stock , and the throttle response is better to , exhaust is still on the quiet side. That was exhaust change only , no flash in it then . Tells me there is quite a bit of restriction in the stock exhaust.

There is a lot of restriction in the stock.
