Ok I know this has been asked before but I can't seem to find it. Here's my problem.
I have an 07 RTX with Trail America's 144" extensions. My last set of hyfax lasted under 100 miles. The trails were AWESOME. No one else I rode with had any wear and I went through 2 sets. I don't have the extra wheel kit. Can someone suggest the best fix or wheel kit or ????. If you have an idea and know where to buy a good wheel kit or any other fix please pm me. If you include your email or phone # that would be great as I would really like to order what ever I need today so I can get riding again asap.
Thanks for any help.
Oh and by the way, I saw the new 2011 Apex XTX. If I had more time I could have got in on the factory demo in Hurley. The steering is SWEET. I WANT ONE.....lol. If they come out with a spring order BLACK (are you listening Yamaha??) I will probably put in an order. The price is up there for sure but think about how many miles a guy puts on his $20000 boat....just my 2 cents

thanks for the information. I had actually looked at that post in the past but did not see anything specifically for my 144" extended skid. I thought if I posted here with my specific set up some one with the same set up who possibly had over came similar problems might be able to shed some light on my particular situation.
Sorry if that is kicking the dead horse as that certainly was not my intention. I was only hoping that I could tap into the vast knowledge here and that while I was at work today, and unable to search numerous past posts, someone might contact me with what I need and where I might order it today so I could order it, have it later in the week and install it prior to the weekend.
Thanks again for the link.

Most of the skids are the same as far as changing wheels to 135mm using Doo mounts. If the wear is at the front in the curve, adding marginal snow wheels, available from Yamaha, takes care of that.
