OK, I got a 0 mile 2009 LTX GT, at 6'3" and 340 all geared up, I went with Hygear and got the front and rear revalved and dual rate springs. Here's the problem, I was told by Hygear that they came all set up. But I noticed that none of the spring "locknuts" or jamnuts were tightened (do they need to be?), the front springs were 8mm different on preload (shouldn't they be the same?), and the rear shock spring was not locked and took quite a bit of adjustment to get to the recommended sit-in height 43mm. Also do I need to tighten the small allen screw on the rear spring nut to lock in place or do they pretty much stay put?
Any help would be appreciated (I already called Hygear, not much help). Headin up for a 4 day trip next week and would like to do more riding and less adjusting if possible.
