Who has put the Hygear torsion spring spacer on their Nytro XTX? Does it work well? I was going to order one but I'm wonder how long it takes to install? Is it worth it? Can I put the spacer in with out taking out the skid? There's just no installation instructions for the Nytro so I have no idea if it's a 30 minute job or 6 hour job. Thanks

Plenty of threads on it for info, search is your friend.

Yeah skid will come out ,or at the very least be dropped from tunnel in rear.

i did it while i had the skid out on my xtx but you only need to loosen the track tension, unload the springs and unbolt the rear shaft to get them on once you remove the stock ones.

Did it make a big difference on the sled?

I did it on my XTX and I think it helps make it smoother (doesn't bind) but I did it on the wife's Phaser and it it made a ton of difference

Did you instal it with the skid under the sled or did you take the skid out?

I did it with the skid out when i was servicing it. Which i do every fall pre season. But it can be done quickly by just dropping the back. Not a big deal. Shouldnt take much more than an hour. I did not notice a significant amount of difference but i like the idea of the spacer being in there. Go for it. It will be a great learning experience .
