- 2014 SR Viper XTX. COTC, Hygear 141 pro link.
I installed the Hygear 141 linkage with reservoir at the start of the season and made a big difference in the rear suspension. Added the HyGear twisted spring this weekend to the rear skid front shock and WOW! Now the sled has the best rear suspension I have ever ridden. Plush on the small bumps and stutters and smashes the trail junk sitting on the seat w/o bottoming. Super impressed, nice job Hygear!

Nice sled LB2000, I have the Hygear Mono Rebuild with the dual rate spring in the back of my Vector. ! You will love it but it is pricey ! It makes the Mono just that much better. Hint : don't let your wife try it or you will be doing her's LOL.

Mine still bottoms on occasion but the hit is softer . It does greatly improve the small bumps and the big ones. So much that I'm going to have my other Vector done also. Travis at Barn of parts has a dual rate spring for a lower price but can't find any ride reports. I have to get all my shocks rebuilt this summer might add the dual rates to the front shocks .

I'm sold just need to save some change and get it done in the summer. 7400 miles and it has not been touched so I'm sure that plays a part.

View attachment 117551 I installed these shocks on my Vector last week. I now have Hygear Dual Rate on my Mono and front end. Can't wait to try it!
Those shocks look familiar!

We offer a multi rate big boy spring for the mono shocks. Have been getting nothing but positive feedback from customers that ran them this season. These are a single spring with a soft and firm rate. Interchanges directly with stock spring. At $160 it is a cheaper alternative.

I like very much!!! Thank you! I will be spending more money with the awesome BOP . The last ride of the season I cracked my Rail in two places and will be needing the reinforcement kit. LOL. Here is a big thanks to Travis for the best customer service on Yamaha parts. Keep up the good work !Those shocks look familiar!

Although the full dual rate system is expensive, they're the best! They do have lesser $ packages. I'm surprised we haven't seen dual rate springs on stock shocks. It solves ALOT of issues we have with everyday various riding terrain, styles & speeds.
