i used to love leaving everything, even the japs until top end, in my dust 10-12 years ago on my full dressed hog with a 124" stroker in it. still have the old girl. then tell the unknowing i just changed the pipes and air cleaner. i lived in an area that had lots of retired old dudes with mega deep pockets and when the speed bug bites, it gets real expensive to be competitive. One day my friend would beat me, next week he wouldn't. Lol! I'd then tell him " I think you're down on power" Hahaha......I didn't tell him for 10yrs.
I had work done, if you didn't get it.

with the stk. clutching it is a slug .not after some clutching though .Stock sled is just that...stock. Yamaha didn't clutch it or exhaust it or map it to win all races. They built it to be "stock fast". That means sound levels, emissions, gas mileage & dependability. Start racing stock sleds before i start thinking i bought a slug...lol

Are you serious?
Hey man we are all here to try and help. No need to get pissy. Just because your panties are in a bunch from getting spanked by a yard sale build. We are a community of sled heads here and we are trying to help so that next time you won't be caught with your skirt up.. I was merely stating that something doesn't seem rite with your situation, and the yard sale build might actually be a legit monster build.

I have 192 1.325 and he has 163 1.325. He does put down the Nacho Grande's tho so has a few pounds on me. I was thinking that 40lb rear Turbo kit helped it hook in that field. But he still pulled from a roll. It's freezing up hard around here so gonna try again this weekend in different conditions.what length and quantity of studs you have? whats his weight and yours?

first off....Im not buying some of this (troll)...but I'll keep posting...if you have 1.325"s ....shame on u....and take that f'ing transfer bar completely out...set your rear shock and spring on full soft...get your belt to the highest you can and set your driven spring at 6-2....
and fyi..the biggest POS looking sled you ever saw (a 2003 f7 firecat) routinely mopped up against big takers on the ice...BS'ing with the guy...he said "I really worked hard at making this look like it was thrown together " "so when I kick theyre asses they just look amazzed and really question reality" thats the fun part of it all...and that f7 was fast..
if hes as fast as what you claim...I guarantee he's sandbagging..
where you located? running at?

Have you checked your fuel pressure, I've heard from a VERY Reliable sourse that there was a bad batch of fuel pumps put in some machines. You might be running out of gas there seabass.. seriously though. You can prolly borrow a pressure gauge from Auto Zone and check it pretty easily. Worth the few minutes to eliminate that as a cause of the lack of power. Every magazine i read the Sidewinder is supposed to be unbeatable, especially from a yard sale build sled. Wish i had the $$ to buy one..

Hey Shagnos, until you change your avatar to something a little more manly, it is really hard for me to take anything you say seriously, and I got a good feeling, you,re just trolling. If not, you better get use to the motto that there is always someone faster, and just enjoy trail riding your sled. Maybe you,ll be able to brag about mileage , or the soft ride, or the handling instead .
Hey do you know a guy by the name of Tom Hall right in your area?i used to love leaving everything, even the japs until top end, in my dust 10-12 years ago on my full dressed hog with a 124" stroker in it. still have the old girl. then tell the unknowing i just changed the pipes and air cleaner. i lived in an area that had lots of retired old dudes with mega deep pockets and when the speed bug bites, it gets real expensive to be competitive.
