We had devided last year it was definetly time to get rid of our 2 01 Ventures but we wanted long tracks and the new suspensions were only available on the shorties. The ProAction suspension seemed to be on its way out the door as it was only still on the Rage and Warrior pretty much. We were skeptical about getting the Rage and Warrior because we just had a gut feeling that Yamaha would do something radical with the suspension on them for 2006. And they sure did, just definetly not what i was expecting. I was guessing they'd put a 136" version of the Vectors ProActive on the Rage at least and possibly the Warrior as well but i never expected the MonoShock. Multiple people and dealers had told us that a MonoShock was practically impossible on a 136" machine. O well, the 05 Warrior and Rage are still stellar machines and with prices on the 06 as high as they are, it's a good thing we got them last year, plus the dealer gave us an unbeatable price on the Warrior (i think they were having trouble selling the candy apple red).

You'd be suprised, all machines will depreciate at the same rate for the most part. Don't feel bad, the bottom isn't going to fall out on your sled. There is still decent resale on those machines.

Yamaha came up with a real slick way of stretching the mono to 136. If they had just lengthened the rails, it would have resulted in inconsistent track tension, but putting the upper wheels more to the back keeps everything in alignment.
