TY 4 Stroke Junkie
Do the spring loaded ice scratchers that mount to the rails bolt into an existing hole on an 06 apex or do you need to drill one? Also if not in an existing hole how far forward should they be mounted?

You should mount them as far forward as you can for them to work,
The way they show you to mount them on the rail does nothing unless you would like to cool the rear wheels, that's why guy are mounting them on the ski, that way they will provide cooling and help with slider wear..

Then mount them to the inside of the ski to the ski bolt. That makes sense. I looked at the cable ones but have doubts of their effectiveness. It seems as though they woud just bounce around.
