Hi All,
When I come to a stop on the trail, sled idles at 3800 rpms for about 15 seconds before it slow it's idle down to 1200. At this rpm, it seems like it is working hard to keep running.
Also for the first time ever, when I first started up the sled and after the orange light stops blinking, it stalls. It has never don this before either. It has always run like a top.
So far this year I have put 250 miles on sled and before season started, I siphoned all last years’ gas out, and through the summer months I started sled once a month to keep fresh gas in carbs.
Update #1:Check out my plugs and boots. One of them is all brown. The brown one is located on the left outside when sitting in seat.
Update #2:I just changed the plugs and notice arcing between discolored boot and aluminum cover. Do I need a new boot?
Cheers,
Chris

Clean and syncronize the carbs, pay special attention to the pilot jets because they are really small.

Clean those boots inside out and apply di-electric grease to all connections and inside boot.I would also clean my carbs and check main jets.

I would also do a compression test.

the 03 had bad coils, the 05 is fine. clean coils inside and out. it looks as if you had water sitting in that plug, causing it to rust. when you clean pilots, hold each one up to a light and look through it. it should be smooth inside and the hole should look round. if not, you can remove the paper off a twist tie and pass it through several times. another method is to soak them in carb solvent or c.l.r. if you have the time.

Hi,
Thanks for all the help. Once I changed plugs and cleaned that coil, everything was back to normal.
