I’m always there brother but yes that was me and yes that is RockerDan’s 18 I swear he set that thing up exactly perfect for meThe only thing I changed was I went from 6.9 pilots to 5.7 with aggressive snow trackers on.Oh and also I put that windshield that you like on .Dan hates it but I gotta have it because of where I ride most of the time

I think you’ll like that windshield because that stock one is really cold when you’re up in northern Maine or Quebec

I drove in one night on my 50th, and saw yours, so walked up to it and recognized it from this site from when Dan had it. At that point I didn’t even know he had sold it to you lol. I was trying to figure out which guy you were when I walked in that night?

I do all my riding out of St Agatha or Sinclair..love it there. I already have reservations at the Motor inn for 12/26 this December...we gotta get together for a beer at the Lakeview or Sporting Club!

Ya I hate high windscreens...but I don’t mind the one you put on...if you’re gonna go bigger that looks cool.
 
I love Saint Agatha my grandfather raised 18 children in that town my dad was the oldest I have nothing but great memories of that place.You can’t miss me I’m the good looking baldheaded guy with killer blue eyes cording to my wife Lol.We will definitely be doing some riding and I hope to meet up with Steve I actually ride in Steve’s favorite area once in a while I’m actually a member of Joe Mary riders in South twin Millinocket
 
We will definitely meet up and do some riding I know that whole area like it’s my backyard I’ll take you to some trails that will blow your mind and hardly anybody uses Even when there’s not a lot of snow in southern Maine and everybody comes up north. We eat at Lakeview and sporting club all the time so you can’t miss me . According to my wife I’m the tall Studley guy with a shaved head and killer blue eyes,LOL
 
I’ve probably seen you up there many times Preacher..and of course not known you. Ya it’s a great area, been going there for 26 yrs now, so it’s like a second home. Great folks there for sure! Can’t wait for 12/26 to get up and enjoy the snow. Hopefully I’ll run into you...I’ll be looking for the attributes your wife has labeled you with lol...

What will you be riding now? Why ya sell that machine? all tricked out and ready for action. Heck the motor was just getting broken in.

I spring checked a ‘21 XRS 850 shortie. After some contemplation Was gonna keep the Winder and have both. Then Steve called out of the blue, and was very interested, and it just happened.

It left me stranded on the trail back in January(chaincase), and it was quite the ordeal. All fixed and warrantied, but I had lost some confidence
in it after that, and found myself second guessing things, and turned off somewhat.

If I had more time to ride than I do...I’d a kept it and enjoyed both sleds. But time is limited for me with my job, and when I get away I just wanna ride and not always be tinkering. I loved the Winder, and it’s incredible power. I’ll miss that aspect for sure. Someday I will probably return and get another one, but for now gonna give the Doo a try as Rockerdan did.

2 or 3 years from now we’ll reassess and see what things look Like, and what is new in the market at that time, and go from there. It’s all good.
 
;)! Yea I here ya, it’s been several wasted trips because of breakdowns for me in the past, really pisses a guy off! Now that I’ve pretty much had the entire sled apart several times and applied all the different TY fixes for everything, reliability has improved significantly.

Good luck with your 850, keep us informed on how you like it.
