Try mcmaster.com. Should have some stainless clamps with constant tension spring washers.

The tap ones are the ones I have now and I have wrecked a couple of them and had one fall apart.
I suppose I can go with them again just need to leave the IC on LOL

T-bolt clamps are the way to go. Are yours blowing off or stripping out?

Not blowing off just stripping out and overall not very durable. I have had the IC off a total of 3 times and they were shot. Maybe I tighten them to hard I really put it to it when I do tighten them.
I dont think T bolt clamps fit between the TB's do they?

I installed turnbuckles from I/C to deltabox. No need to overtighten clamps, this way and the I/C can't pop off.

apex blower 136 for asphalt racing
osp drag race sled (apex engine based)
I just install brackets on cylinder head (both sides) and then weld hooks on each sides of IC then use exhaust springs to keep the IC/TB assy nicely preloaded to intake ports.

That's what I did too. I used to have the intercooler blow off at 15# and now it has held at 22-25# without any problems. Ken....FLYBYU said:I just ended up buying a ratchet strap
