Anyone with iQS shock package have trouble getting the button to activate the shock mode? My 21 SRX will not not activate the shock mode. Dealer said the switch likely bad but switches are on backorder. I press button right in the center, but it just toggles through the intake temp, coolant temp and battery voltage.

When you start the sled does iqs come up on the dash? When I start my 21 after 15 or so seconds it says iqs active suspension on the dash. Have to wait around a minute to change the settings.

yes it comes up and says active or whatever it states. I think the system is in place, but the means of adjusting it do not work.

Button can be finicky sometimes when driving usually a firm push in the center works for mine. Otherwise might be the switch.

Travis....I'll be taking my new '21 SRX out for the first time this weekend. I did a pre-check yesterday of the sled and it looked like all of the IQS functions worked properly when I scrolled through the different functions on the gauge.
This included Driver 1 and Driver 2 modes along with soft, medium, and firm settings on the IQS.
It sucks to hear that your new SRX has a glitch but hopefully your dealer/Yamaha will have your back on this.

Dealer should have Travis back adjusting in June when the parts come in OMG. BTW VX1R, let’s see some pics of the new graphics!

My 2021 is doing the same as Travis tomorrow I’ll let it run for a minute and push in center to see if it does anything then

I could understand when moving and trying to get it pressed just right. I can not get mine when just sitting still and being anal about how I press the dumb button! Ah...I was not a fan of the electronic shock nonsense to begin with but you can't get a nice blue SRX with out it!

If it doesn’t work can you set shocks without the electronics, just curious

I tried again today and held the center for 3 seconds or so and it shows soft medium and hard. Then driver 1 and driver 2. I would like to put the front on soft and rear on hard but not sure if its one setting for all or you can do both. Not sure if this will help Travis but its what i had to do.

Just an update on my new 2021 SRX. After about 150 miles the sled shows the same symptoms that Travis was having with his. Switch is no longer able to toggle between the shock settings even though at start up the gauge shows that “IQS is active”.
We’ll have to wait and see what the dealer and Yamaha have to say.
When it was working I thought that the on the fly adjustments for the shocks, especially being able to switch between Driver 1 and Driver 2 settings was a really nice feature to have for different trail conditions.
Hopefully this doesn’t turn into a widespread problem for everyone with the IQS shock package.

Sorry to hear you are having the problem too. Keep us posted on what you find out.
Buddies 800 limited did same thing. He had to push that button real hard to change setting. Never had to do that before.

My 2020 T-cat started doing something odd with the I act setting. It shows that it’s active, but when you hold down middle button it doesn’t show soft , med, firm. I’ll try toggling those settings with the dash buttons next time up.

Mine was like that at first on the 2020 and then it started to work like it should have a few hundred miles..you have to push it directly in the middle hard at first then later on it was like you had to have the touch.
