is there an easy way to drain the fuel tank? im not able to drive the sled. need to do welding repairs...
Only way to get it all out is tip it upside down. If your welding just get what you can out with siphon and remove the tank to somewhere safe.

I welded sleds with full fuel tanks, just be sure there are no leaks and don't weld right close to the tank. Be sure to have up to date fore extinguishers ready just in case.is there an easy way to drain the fuel tank? im not able to drive the sled. need to do welding repairs...
And don't forget disconnect battery.

ok. yea if its easy to remove tank ill just do that. havent figured out yet how the tank is all bolted together. hopefully all the hoses and electrical disconnect easy. plug and play.Only way to get it all out is tip it upside down. Its a good opportunity to Loctite and tighten the Pyramid bolts anyway. Just be careful with the clip holding fuel line onto the pump. Its fragile.

Leave the fuel line connected to the fuel pump, just disconnect from the fuel rail and remove tank with fuel filter and line connected to pump once all electrical stuff is discounted.
