Yep great pattern to be able to upgrade and try all the sleds and pick the real winner without having to guess or rely on what others say or post. It's good to be me what can I say. If your so quick to judge you may forget that I also purchased an 850 this season...and shall we bring up all the nice things you have had to say about the procross in the past? See that same pattern repeating now? its a wonderful machine Things change, tech changes and experience trumps all. See for a man such as yourself you can only speculate how great the 850 or my Assault are. Me I can ride them both and know which is better. No one should feel bad about anything they purchase they buy em for themselves not others but I guess if I had a fragile ego I would care what someone says about me or my sled of choice lol. You might want to look into some Simons Gen 3 skis if you keep getting all that snow! Keep it rubber side down Joe.
I just got back in from riding. My buffalo blasts through 2 feet of snow like it's nothing. My Pilot 6.9"s work great and we are expecting another ft of snow in the next couple days.
I liked my 1200 Doo's and I still do and l don't go on DT and tell them how much better my new sled is. The problem with you is you can't wait to go brag about your new ride to guys who are riding the sled your putting down. Now you sold one of your 850's and you just couldn't resist telling the Doo boys that the 850 you kept is now your backup sled.
We can go on about this and you can act like you're giving non biased reviews but we both know what you doing and you enjoy it.
Don't sell that 850 (backup sled) because you never know. I ran into a guy in the Gaspe last year riding a 1200 Doo rental. He wasn't very happy because he started his trip with a new 2017 Poo 800 but the engine seized the first day. I told him thats why I ride 4 strokes and he said that would be is next sled.

Jamie has 4 sleds.
Joe has 2 feet of snow.
I got a new foldable hacksaw to put in my trunk for emergencies. You heard me...that's it! And i'm happy for it!
So let's not wreck a beautiful pic of a 'Winder buried in the snow 'cuz some of us have just a damn hacksaw to stare at....

Approach angle on the winder has no problem keeping it on top. Wait maybe it’s the horsepower! Lol either way it will kill a turbo axys in the mountains!
How can that be! Shouldn't you be riding under the snow? I just got in from riding my Winder in 2 feet of snow and it is a blast. Maybe it is the HP but it just flys
