looking for installation manual for rear mount 2nnd stage turbo bought it used seems to be working well. Was like putting a jigsaw puzzle without pic on box.Seems to be working well put set of heavy hitters in running 7 -10 lbs boost on 92 octane tuning suggestions would also be greatly appreciated

One suggestion; unless you are running a head shim, multiple head gaskets, or low compression pistons, I would get the boost down to 6lbs or less at 92 octane. For short runs you may be able to run 7lbs with 93 octane. That is if the 93 octane is fresh. Just a suggestion.

What is your e-mail adress so I can e-mail you the installation manual?

Agreed, The "fun" will end very early if your compression is stock on that kind of boost..

realy appreciate the help

Thanks for sending install manual putting it in without it was like putting together a jigsaw without picture on box. Have it together and seems to b working well for short bursts but seems to be ei therstarting to detonate or leaning out after cuising down lake for about a mile have fuel pressure guage now to help diagnose . Scott from mod father has been very helpfull he is located in Orrillia highly recomend him to all looking to turbo or supercharge your Yami in the central ontario region

any other suggestions or tips would be appreciated. also has anyone come up with muffler or some way to get noise level of exhaust down to a reasonable level

turboed,

Full Power Performance has a dual outlet rear mount turbo muffler that is sweet, comes in two size options for flow depending on how much boost you want to run. Exits in the stock location.

turboed: I run the original dual exhaust from Full Power Performance and it does make the noise level much better. I only run 10-12 lbs of boost.

Also, one thing you should do is change the single hose from the bottom of the intercooler, that goes to the carb slides. Run two lines to the carb slides. One line for each pair of carbs. I went a step further and welded bungs into the front top of the intercooler, so I only have two 6 inch hoses going to the carb slides.

I also went to a K&N 6 inch filter, and put a lot of holes in both exhaust covers to get the heat out from under the seat. I also got the turbo housing heat coated, and heat wrapped the muffler.

I've ordered a set of carb springs from Hurricane to try and get rid of the bad rich condition on hole shot. No matter what I do with clutching, I still
get a A/F of 10 on holeshot until boost starts to build. I think my gauge only goes down to ten.

I used to have a lean mid condition, but since I added the short slide hoses, I dropped the needles one notch and run 17.5 pilots at 1.5 turns off seat.

I'm guessing that I'm getting a stronger signal to the slides, causing the slides to open to fast during hole shot.

I also got Full Power Performance to add the flex joint in back where the exhaust attaches to the turbo. When the sled used to flex, the old slip on style would leak and cause erratic boost numbers.

Do a search under "Bender and turbo"

thanks for help more needed

does anyone know base setting 4 wastegate without controller what boost should i be getting?

Mine is 6 lbs with just a little pull on the rod. If you disconnect the C clip and rod from the waste gate, then adjust the rod so you have to pull it out of the can about 1/16 of an inch to make sure the waste gate is closed tight. That should be 5-6 lbs of boost.
