Does anybody know of a K&N kit for the RS vector? Or can anyboy offer advice on jetting increases for an 05 sled with K&N's. It seems that everybody makes a kit for those heavy 4 cylinder rx models, but nobody wants to touch the 3 cylinder engine
Thanks
Chris

the reason no one touches the three cylinder is because there is hardly any gain and if u dont know what ur doing it can actually hurt performance...so save urself some money and keep stock air box

yeah surfing around it seems to be the popular opinion that stock is the best option when it comes to air intakes

I have never met the The guys from Fix Powersports but I hear good things about them. IF he says it wqorks, I guess it does. I hand built a special set of my popular RX1 filters and turned one into a 3 cylinder filter. I had an upsate NY dealer bring his 3 cylinder sled to me and it failed to make better HP than the stock airbox.

One thing that I do not agree with is when Fix states about making dyno's read whatever you want them to. Mine custom Made in-chassis Dynojet ENGINE dyno is a polygraph machine of sorts. It tells me the correction factor, not the other way around. It would be interesting to see what the stock air/fuel readings are versus the aftermarket filters and jets and whatever.
