2012 FX Nytro X-Ride 153".

Only limited information so far, but it is basically a MTX 153" with a special graphics package, adjustable pivot riser and "wide ski stance". Available as a 2012 model through Yamaha Motor Scandinavia, which means Sweden and Norway.

I guess Yamaha figures those of us on this side of the pond can't handle the bold Scandanavian graphics......

Nice looking sled....Enjoy.

BTW...when do you guys stop sledding? We have maybe 2 more weeks of spring conditions...maybe 3 weeks if we get lucky.

Cheers

not here...we just got another foot o snow...atleast another month...maybe more...

I've ridden so much here in Newfoundland its getting ridiculous. I'm starting to tire of riding...NOT!

Spring aint even started here yet although looks like next week the temps will go above zero, soon be time to make use of the scratchers i guess.

Does anyone know if the small wheels are on the USA version or just spring ice scratchier? One more question if putting these wheels on 2011 Nytro; what is the diameter of the wheel bearing. Have been looking at adding a wheel along with the ice scratchier but the bolts comes in 20 or 25 millimeter?

Sad to say the grass is greening in Ma., and even the plowed snow piles are almost gone. :~(

The pictures of the X-Ride were taken at a Yamaha dealer show in Hemavan in the Swedish mountains. Depending on exact location, this area is sometimes possible to ride until middle of May.

My area (the coast right on top of Gulf of Bothnia) is normally possible to ride one or two more weeks, on trails as well as off trail. However, conditions from now on are not that great. The temperature during most of the day is well above the freezing point, the snow is bottomless but still really wet and heavy, most lakes are full of slush and some river crossings start to open up. I prefer cold January days with fresh powder. Any time...!

More info about the X-Ride - if my source is correct, this is nothing but a "standard" MTX SE 153" where the dealers will install the graphics package and the adjustable pivot riser before delivery. Though, I am not 100% sure if the "wide ski stance" really means different a-arms or just relocated ski spacers. Anyway, the pricing is very competitive (considering the hype around the 2012 Cats, anything else would be impossible...) and there is rumours about a trick backpack and even a helmet camera being included...!

More pics of X-Ride (with standard skis...!).
The backpack, shovel and GoPro camera are comfirmed to be included if you order no later than 30th of June.
