Launch control on nytro turbo?

I have a mcx 270 kit on my nytro, im using a msd 4350 launch master and was wondering why it is not making any boost when i use it? maybe because of engagement to low i have it clutch to engage at 2900 should i raise it and if so to how much..

you will need it up to 4500 or so to make some boost
