Good idea to eliminate the basics possible causes. keep me posted as to what you come up with.
I've been to lazy to get a clogged pilot jet cleaned on my 03 RX1 it acts erratic as well im hoping some fresh high octane and a few miles of WO throttle will clean itself out if not i'll have to get the carb rack cleaned. I tried to ride it some today in minus 28 degree weather...... that idea lasted all of about 15 minutes before i was back in front of the wood stove keeping warm.
I was surprised the RX1 even started let alone ran.
