I posted this in the "Aftermarket Suspension" forum with only one response about making up the difference. I know alot of people have done this so there must be info out there.
I'm looking for step by step instructions and pic's for the install of a Polaris Edge or IQ skid in a 2005 RX1 (121) and a 2008 Apex LTX (136).
Anyone have them in a word doc?
How much modification to the tunnel will need to be done, drilling brackets moved, etc...?
Is there a weight savings?
Are you happy with the ride? Does it change the way the sled handles?
Any other changes need to be made to the new skid, springs, shock valving, etc......
I read a post that mentioned the IQ skid was a little narrower than a Edge skid. How did you make-up the difference?
