I think in the big bumps the sway bar arm was coming into contact with the lower A arm a bit because it broke the zip tye that was holding the link to the sway bar. Take a few extra zip tyes with you on your test ride. This is not meant to be anything permanant but it is a very easy way to test the handeling of your sled with the sway bar disconnected.

Maybe just use some electrical tape, on both the link and the A-arm to protect the paint. I always wanted to try riding without a bar but never got the chance.
