I purchased a 2007 Attak gt with 6000 miles. I have not ridden it, but have been going through many items of maintainance and concearn. I just put in the ulmer bushing kit which DID tighten things up on the a-arms.
My question is the vertical ski spidal arm that yamaha calls a STEERING KNUCKLE and slides over the COLUMN ASSEMBLEY. There is a little up and down movement in one side(maybe a 1/16 inch), but at least a 1/8 inch on the other side. Can I tighten this up somehow?. The parts picture shows 2 large bushings, but will this tighten up the up and down movement? I thought Ulmers kit had these, but it did not.

Give us a call. I do have these bushings now available. They are $15 for a set of 4 of them.
