Out riding today and sled (2017 SW) felt a little sluggish. It will only rev to 7900 at WOT on a ice road. I am running TD SM Max16. Normally I am between 8,800 - 8,900. I checked the primary cam arms and rollers and both seem to be free. Any suggestions on where to start? The sled runs fine, only doesn't rev. Thanks.
How full is the tank? Possible fuel pump issues. They will starve for fuel as the tank empties. No codes, runs fine just won’t RPM.

I had over a half tank.
Mine starts starving at about 1/2 to 3/4 tank. Doesn’t do it all the time, just when I’m running it hard.I had over a half tank.

What belt you using? Ultimate XS belts really RPM low when it warms up out. Typically I switch to the 8JP when it really warms up and/or start taking weight from the primary arms as needed.
Also, check for broken clutch springs and low boost levels as well.

I'm running an ultimax. I'll switch the belt. I'll also watch the boost tomorrow am. The also checked the springs and they are not broken. We weren't running really hard, but wasn't babying it either.
If it is the fuel pump, will it continue to operate at a lower pressure or will it totally quit working and leave me stranded on the trail?

Doubt it's the pump. I've had to reduce weight and switch belts to the 8JP in the warm temps. Its why I love the Dalton weights!

Unfortunately I'm running STM's...not as easy. But still doable.

4500 miles. I have had an occasional knock light though.

First thing I think would be to make sure that you are running the proper boost levels. Then take your clutches apart and inspect. If those dont change it, then look at fuel pressure. A 1000RPM is alot to lose....
