Gotcha...I wonder how the Yami helix's compare to the Cat helix's because I run a straight 45 in my STM secondaryNot a 45 it’s a STM 38. It measures at 45.

As the miles pile on these "Belt Blowers".....no blown belts yet
Nos bring that bar to the group ride. I should check mine. No issues but would think performance also would be improved if perfect. Thanks

I am going to be putting another few hundred miles on this weekend as well. I am swapping belts right away at the beginning of the weekend though. We will see if I can get the red-line to not slip/wear so badly. Will report on what she looks like after a hard weekend of corner to corner blasts.

Got this sidewinder all set up!! This guy has been blowing belts original offset 61mm
Removed primary and checked that stub shaft bearing was properly seated . Bearing needed to be reseated and new offset measurement came in at 60mm. Had 2.3mm machined and now he is what I feel is "on the $$"
Offset is now 57.7mm!!
New thunder products 14.8 rollers should be here tomorrow and sled will go back to customer to ride the weekend!!
I will update on Monday if he blows belts or not...
I am pretty confident he will have no issues since I been pretty successful on helping guys with belt issues in the last 2 seasons following these steps!
1- remove both primary and secondary to disassemble, clean and inspect.
2- check stub staft and reaseat if needed
3- replace any worn or questionable parts in clutches
4- install both clutches and take a offset measurement (front outer machined edge of secondary to back outer machined edge of primary )
5 - have secondary hub machined to spec (57.5 to 59)
Remove spring and reassemble secondary and make sure the amount you machine does not affect full shift out (around 3 mm max)
6- install clutches and double check offset
