So it sounds like on the led kits they accomplish "high beam" by lighting additional bulbs.
Now for stock lights. do you guys think this is too much strain for the sleds charging system? I have no problems tracing wires, reading wire diagrams, and such but electrical theory and capacities.......I'm a pipefitter

I'm a tech by trade and as far as I can see that it draws less because they are led if using hid it would draw moreSo it sounds like on the led kits they accomplish "high beam" by lighting additional bulbs.

That's awesome! Wish I New that before I went through all the wiring! Maybe that's why my buddy bike has both on in hi beam modeWhen I was going to do the high low wiring me and my nephew checked them and with low beam on 2 leds lit up and with high beam on all 4 leds lit up on bulb so I checked the nytro to that we just installed them on and same thing and didn't modify nothing

Well! Either way visibility is much better with both on so it's good to know LEDs work that way.Lol the funny thing is on my Harley they both light up on high beam and made me look into this as I seen this thread

For HID you have a bulb that uses an electromagnet to draw it in for high beam. This changes the focal length and of course it is much too great a difference.
I did mind and shared the mod with Rocztoyz. I believe he is now including this standard with his kits. HID vs LED was no comparison for me. LED lacks the throw distance.

I had hid in my truck and switched with these new leds. It seems to work the same as the hid i had in the truck. The new leds are getting better, I'm trying them in my sled seems better than stock that's for sure and no heat.

Any idea if the new update headlight in the 17's will help with the spread between the low and high beams? Anybody with a '17 Viper can confirm?
