looking to pull my 10 ltx gt skid out for the first time as I just bought it with 5000 miles. is the removal just like the mono instructions in the tech section??? are there certain areas I should focus on for issues?

The only difference between 120 & 136 Mono is the 136 has the upper idler wheels on sepperate shaft mounted into the tunnel. The last time I pulled an LTX skid was so long ago I can't remember if I had to pull this shaft or not. Other than that its the same procedure.

Just make sure you check/change/regrease your idler bearings, look for cracks in the suspension, (highly unlikely anything will be found) check all nuts and bolts for tightness, change hyfax if needed, check plastic caps on end of rails making sure they are secure so they won't stab your track, and if needed, it is a great time to add the 4th wheel kit and a low snow kit.

The same instructions will work. FYI,
no shaft on my rear uppers in my 2010 LTX, just bracket and sm standard size wheel. Differant than full shaft with large wheels.

Same instructions. Bees sure to remove dial adjust bolts and lay adjuster on skid. Pull rear upper idlers mounted to tunnel then remove rear transfer rod bolt then pull remaining tunnel bolts and she should come right out.
