It’s ok because I wanted one

It recently ran 59mph in a short distance.

Better to keep that off video for internet speaking. The boost would make your 998 look like that 250if we raced

My 2019 srx pulls 110mph in around 500 to 1000 ft consistenly all stock ,what does that orange cat have done to it that pulls 118 mph in 500 ft?

Are you on ice? Those are some pretty impressive #’s for a stocker!

I NEVER said my 900R was FASTER then a Sidewinder!
It's quicker, takes a Winder 1/4 to 1/2 mile to catch me tho
Someone said the Sidewinder's clutching comes spot on.........maybe NOW they do, but it took them 4 years to get it right also.
The first 3 years Yamaha made their money on belts

BOOST is NOT faster then the Winder!!!!

My buds' 21 Winder got over 4500 miles on his belt & he weighs 250 plus with 144 studs
He catches me & passes me about 3/4 to 1 mile marker
He's also had NO problems until last ride when a suspension bolt loosened & caused some damage
A VERY GOOD shop in Maine has gone through it to do all the fixes................I hope so cuz we're riding 2000 miles next week together
He also over heats a lot so I hope they did something for that also

OK, the FREAK posted it
That is 4 tenths of a mile
That is me on left with CUDNEY Clutch kit with Ice-Attack track & I weighed 174 at time (ate like chit all week)
My old Ecotrail 17 Winder with 96 studs & 185 pound rider in middle
Boost on right with 96 studs & 260 pound rider on right

I will say this that when I ride the Boost it is MUCH faster.
We were gonna line me up on it against Winder, but he blew a belt then threw a stud into front exchanger later

if a race is a mile or longer I agree with you Steve
There are a lot of stock issues with all three brands so luck of the draw there
A race is 500-660 ft here and good luck catching the sled that wins the gate shot
I also posted videos of tunes sleds. Who has stock sleds
Not too many
We drag race and I post real data
This is a safe space for people to say whatever they want

This was NOT a one off lucky run.
I've been saying this for 2 years even stock, I've NEVER been beat by ANY stocker to 100
Even roll ons when I had stock clutch................same results

My sled is not slow, but a good Winder will pass it on top

NOW DON't FORGET, this is NOT a Mach & I think the clutching they installed cuz of Launch hurt those sleds
ALSO, the 900R's have some inconsistent top end results.
I feel Doo pulls power to be safe, maybe TOO safe if there is such a thing.
I notice it a lot on top, but never bottom or mid

Well that’s where we differ and that’s fine. Also very easy to agree on that.
Just a snowmobile and some are faster than others and this wasn’t a bash on any 998. Some just take it that way.
Like I said it’s more entertaining than anything.
998 is fast and can be tuned
Mach or 900 less is fast and can be tuned
Boost is fast and can be tuned
What I can’t figure out is why my tuned 998 beats others with the same mods
That’s odd
