major engine failure what do i do

A good deal? If I was going to sell my 09 XTX I wouldn't expect to get more than 3500-4000 complete.

$2800 for a motor might be a lot cheaper than new, but it ain't cheap.

I think I'd part out the sled if I lost the motor, or buy a used sled and have a lot of spare parts.

What? An 09 nytro sells for 6-8k up here... Yours would have to be beat, or you're getting hosed if you only get 3500-4k for it... Hell sell it to me, and Ill turn around and make a couple grand off it then.

Well, there is a Nytro for sale locally with 10,000 fewer kms than I have, and he's asking over $7000. But mine has seen plenty of use, and is not what you'd call mint.

I suppose I could probably get $4500 for it though.

I bet my rebuild landed on about 4000 dollars. However i did not have to change the block.
