The big rains that the UP had over Father's day weekend caused some major damage - no doubt. But recently I heard that a number of snowmobile trails up there also experienced some severe damage due to the rain and will remain closed for this winter. Can anyone confirm this? If so, what trails are affected?

Trail closures remaining in effect include the Freda Grade Route, the Chassell to Houghton Trail and the Lake Linden Route south of Normand Road. The dnr is working really hard on getting all the main trails done in time for winter
