First snow in Northern Illinois. Definitely gives one hope for a great season. Anyone else getting snow?

The trails opened in the UP on December 1st, with copious amounts of snow in some areas.
The right thing to do: be a stand-up guy and to give things a couple weeks and let the groomers do their job at getting the trails ready. And tell everybody else to stay off the trails until that has happened.
The wrong thing to do: is head up as soon as possible and tear everything up and enjoy this sport, that is seemingly disappearing.
The new thing to do: is the head up, not tell anybody, tear the place up and go home with no regrets. Lol.

Good to hear! I have not been up since late October fishing. It will be a surprise when I roll UP on the 20th. Guessing I’ll need to do some roof raking! Should get some riding in as I’m UP until the 5th. Should have the catalyst clutched after that trip. Dropped a 50/46 helix with the venom green/silver in last night. That will help a lot.You should be getting some decent LES by your place. Things are tightening up nice around here.

It won’t matter if the hyper crowd gets there itch scratched early with no base or ice under the new snow.. Its been like that every year.. Those of us that have been in the sport for 30, 40, 50 years with a half a brain has the patience to wait just a little while until there is somewhat of a base and conditions that won’t destroy our equipment.. I want it and I want it now crowd are those same customers that have kept these dealerships operating so thats not a bad thing.. So whatever floats your boat…

I respectfully disagree haha let'r rip!
Doesn't help that all the hotels and businesses are doing their best to entice us to come up there to ride, right now.
Kind of counterproductive to the ladies & gentleman out there running the equipment
