When I start up my snowmobile i wait for the blinking light. After that goes off I try and go and it dogs out and sometimes back fires. It does this only some of the time. After It stops doing this it runs great. Just wondering if you guys ever had this problem.

Sled is still cold. They take a long time to warm up to proper operating temps. The blinking light is just a guideline as to when the sled is ready to move.

I believe the blinking light also indicates that the electric carb heaters are on, and when it goes out the carb heaters are off.

How do you disconnect it. Also I thought it was funny that after I came out of the bar like a half and hour later and started my sled the light went off right when started and i went and it did the same thing and it was only like 10. The engine should have still been warmed up from the 80 miles i put on before i went into the bar I think. Maybe not I dont know much about this sled. Thanks for the help

the sled is just cold. i wait for my light to go off, pull it off the trailer, then go easy on it for a couple miles. probably good for the sled too.

sounds like TORS kicking in............Ihad that happen to mine on an overnight backpack trip last year.......had to let sled sit out and had a little piece of ice between flipper and pivot point......caused TORS to kick in until we found ice and cleared it......then it ran fine.

dealer suggested covering flipper if left outside
