My sled is down for count, waiting on new motor parts. They are going to build a entire new motor out of separate pieces as Yamaha doesn't offer assembled long blocks I guess. Good luck Laidback!

I know someone that is running a Cat 4 stroke. His oil pump went, not very many miles on his. His dealer got him a complete drop in .My sled is down for count, waiting on new motor parts. They are going to build a entire new motor out of separate pieces as Yamaha doesn't offer assembled long blocks I guess. Good luck Laidback!

I had some extra time to do more in depth checking on my sled. I had to replace the reflective heat mat on the front off the fuel tank. So I went deeper and removed the header cover to check the hose on the heat exchanger on the right side. The clamps were very loose. I tightened them both 1 1/2 turns. Also there was no foil placed on this hose from the factory.
