Modifications without miles on machine

Hey guys, I have my new 05 RX-1 sitting in the garage right now, before the winter comes I want to make all modifications to it now. I really want to put the ECP kit on and clutch it as well. Can I do this without any miles on the sled. I hate working on my sled in the middle of winter. Thank you guys

You could, but don't you find it more enjoyable to make the change and feel the difference? That is the best way to make sure you are getting value for the money.

I would do all the non-power modifications (like the new skis that you ARE going to buy) now, then power mods during the winter.

Lazy why is he going to buy skis. I am told they changed this years skis to a mid height keel.

The keel height isn't the problem, its the WIDTH. Use of that width on that sled has been known to cause front-end gyrations that result in rolling sideways at high speeds.

The ski's Yamaha provides are mediocre at best get yourself a pair of Simmons there's a thread out here where CCPerformance is putting together a group buy for us I'm sure he could add you to the list
