I need to have a mono shock rebuilt from my wifes sled. What can I expect to pay. I checked with the yamaha dealer and they wanted $150 plus parts. Is that the going rate or are they trying to rip me off, this place is famous for that. I thought I read somewhere that someone had one rebuilt for $50 or $60 buck. I am in Saskatchewan, does anyone know of a cheaper place to get it done around here. Saskatchewan or Manitoba.

I paid $75 even for my Mono rebuild from Peak Velocity in Claremont Ont.

Great guy who does great work and he does ship so he is definitely worth checking out if you can't find anything out your way Stomper.

Thanks guys, those prices are way cheaper than around here. Can the 03 rx1 shocks (skid/skis) be rebuilt or are they throw away.

the front stock shock can be rebuilt, the rear was junk when it was built. Find a cheap rear from a 02 and back viper. rehab it and all good for just a few bucks.
