I want to thank all you guys for your help. I got her fixed the right way now. Yes the wheels did press onto the cross shaft as you guys told me. Everything is like the pictures now. I knew all you great people would chime in to help me out, that's what this forum is all about. thank you all very much, all is good now and that dealer will never see my sled again.
You guys sure took some worries off my mind. I was just lucky I had no troubles in Quebec. I was just putting it back like I took it apart which was wrong. I am a happy sledder now.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but, is there supossed to be movement between the upper idler wheels? when i took the skid out i really had to yard on the left side mounting bolt on the upper wheels and it seems like i have a lot of left right slop (2-3mm) is this normal?

Yes, some is normal just make sure that the IDLERS are fully pressed on the shaft closest to cross tube...

Thanks, i was worried i had pulled something apart by turning out the mounting bolt.
