Do anyone know if the vertical steering post that A-C has on their 9000, will fit on the Viper?
How did you stretch it, new AC mountain skid?
I will put OEM sliderunners from an A-C M 162" with the rear tunnel from the same one. They uses the same skid except different calibration on the shocks. I think it will be great in the snow.

To stretch them we just used the stock arctic cat rail from the m8 162. It bolts right up to the xtx suspension. Tunnel extension is off a limited m series as well. Overall a very easy swap, that's why I say I hope yamaha has this sled available next season, it's such a easy build I don't know why they wouldn't. Time will tell.

Do you use the oem shocks in the skid? I have heard that the M-models use longer shocks in the front arm and a different setup in the rear.
Did you use the same holes in the chassie or did you lower the the skid? Do you use the 38" front end?

Same rear shocks, we didn't change anything there. It rode very well for the time we have on it, if there is any problems we will make changes but so far so good. Stock mounting holes were used and seem ok, we can switch it up if need be though.
We did use the 38" front end and it's awesome, highly recommend it. I will be ordering a few more after talking with people it seems like, lots if interest in these sleds.
