So after seeing a number of posts about sucking in and blowing out mice , nests and their food ,
I have cut up "steel" 3/8" square screening that fit under the foam in the air box and installed
chair leg rubbers in the tail pipe.
Drilled holes in the rubbers and attached a cord between them and another from them up to the handle bars .
Reason being I don't want to start it with them installed :)
The wire screen is held in place under the foam and lid snapped on just as easy (or hard) as before..
May devise a screen to fit into the bottom draw cavity so mice can't nest in that gap.
..
I looked up "summer storage" and never seen so many opinions. Recall reading an acritical in a sled mag
back when they were talking 15% eth and super around me all has 10% .. Only 4 companies and they all had diff ideas
at the time .. Yamaha corp suggested go out and buy highest octane you could find , treat it with
stabilizer and fill the tank with that "new" fuel. AND remove that fuel in the fall and burn it in something else
and fill her up again with fresh.
