Just took my second ride on my used 2011 APEX 7000km stock that I just purchased. It seems harder on gas than my previous 07 APEX. I did 15.5 mpg on my last ride (19L for 65miles). I know snow conditions mean lots for gas consumption also riding style. Just looking to hear what other s half to say about they re APEX s.

I get 12.5 to 13. I'd be happy at 15.5

Single carbides rather than duallys, dupont sliders, oversize or wheel spacer kit from Pioneer will affect/improve fuel consumption.
Also, when calculating MPG, are you in US or Imperial Gallons?
USG=3.8L
Imp G=4.5L

Yeah I heard about the exup possible positioning issue when at full rpm. I ve read a post from someone that mentionned the best way to very that the exup valve is properly opened is without exhaust and visually confirm its operation from low to high rpm.
Its still running good was curious. I guess the exup would effect top speed also. I noticed it could register a bit higher on the speed. So far my 07 as longer legs than this one. The 13 hp extra I Don t know where they go.

Man I don't know why the 2011 seems to have a few hiccups compared to 2012 and 2015 my 15 xtx w/only 577 miles now gets 13 busting 2 feet of soft snow and on fairly hard packed trails running over 100 at times got 15.87 mpg last fill up,also I just found out my sled when on reserve now sets up a F.....milage log,and sets your milage before it went on the F... to zero and starts the count over till it hits 5 miles than flashes the roange light and resets back to zero to count again,thankfully I was only 7 miles out at that point.so I was at 107 miles when I refueled and it only took 6.8 gal,how many gallons are the new PS sleds is it 9 - 9.1 -9.2 I have heard any one of those numbers,ok at any rate this is much better than the two 06 attack and apex gt I was with,the gt is my sons and was mine,and it is also the closest one to mine for mid and top speed honors,only about 5 sled lengths and 5 mph difference.

Last week up in the U.P. we were riding hard packed, smooth trails, and not pushing it to hard, and got just under 16 mpg with my 11 Apex xtx. I usually run just about 12 mpg with my S/C Nytro if I'm not getting to crazy with it.

I normally get 14 mpg and had gotten 17 mpg out of 1 tank. Clutching can have a huge effect on fuel mileage. I had a clutch kit in for a short time that wouldn't do over 10 mpg!
