I live in ND where it is flat as hell. I found a 07 MTN. Lite for $4500. I am looking for a new phazer after totaling my standard one. Would this be all right for mostly trails and ditch bangin. I would probably put a 1.5 inch track on it. It already hase different skis for trail riding.

It ditch-bangs great, and I'm sure you'll like riding it off-trail better. I don't think you'll like it as much on icy trails, except it won't swap ends as easily. The stock shocks are total crap, though, and you'll want to put the money you saved into new ones.

How bad was it totalled? Easy to make the shorty into a long track. Especially if the buy back price from the insurace comapny makes it worth wild.

How bad was the total?

It was about $3800. I bought it back from the insurance company for $1400 adn sold it to a friend for $1500. The tunnel was the main damage. I got T boned on a trail, I feel really lucky to be alright. Thanks for the help
