I recently purchased a leftover 2015 MTX and my question is can you put a higher windshield on or not with the fixed steering post and have no problems with hitting the handlebars? All info appreciated.

I have a “medium” windshield that works without hitting the handlebars on my mtx. It has deeper cuts for handlebar clearance than the medium sport version. See my post in this thread. I have a couple of photos of the medium windshield on my MTX.

I cut mine down a little bit on the top for better sight lines over the windshield, but it had nothing to do with handlebar clearance. -PeeWee

Put a high windshield on mine. Really Good height, no wind on the face at all now.
