Sidewinder XTX 141"
Hi

I have a Sidewinder XTX 141", currently 400miles

I have done a reflash och the ECU, stage 2 250hp, new muffler and some clutchparts. Today I plannes to test the sled with this setup and had been running for 5-6 miles ande a few full throttle accelerations. All of a sudden at full throttle the engine just stops, doesent start again and says Sd_12 Error.

Does somebody have some ideas what happend?

Best Regards from Sweden!

Code description says crank sensor.
Thanks!

Where is the crank sensor located? And why would it break down? Somehow i connect the fact that the sled is tuned with my problem, but how would the tuning cause crank sensor failure?

Does that code have anything to do with Sweden losing the gold medal game to Canada at the World Junior hockey tournament ?????

Do yourself a favor and to the this site and become a VIP or Life member to get access to the shop service manual. You will thank yourself..in the mean time this may give you some info, I fear the last however.

Thank you for the manual. It seems like an good idea to become a VIP member.

But where is the sensor located? It seems like a good start to measure the resitance of the sensor.

I have measured the trigger sensor, the resistance was 499ohms, should be between 445-545 so the sensor is probably not the problem. I have also sent the ECU to the company that flashed it, they have tested the ECU on another sled and the sled starts and shows no errors. However the company says something was wrong with the map the flashed to the ecu and have now reflashed with the latest map. They now believe the problem i solved, I just have to wait for the ECU and test it on my sled again. Unfortlenty I don't think the ECU was the problem, in that case it would have showed the same error code as on my sled when they tested the ECU before the flashed it again?
