Don't have a pic right now and sled is in the trailer......but..... I use the original hole in the front tower mount and redrill the back hole to fit ( a little lower than stock). I put the shock in and ran the drill bit through where the bolt goes so as to get the hole near perfect aligned. And yes the hole may be slightly elongated but Diamond S actually puts the shock out from between the "ears" and puts it in the front and a spacer between the ears.
The arms..... I take off an upper arm and trace around it on my workbench. Now I cut the arm from the pivot tube. I measure on the bench a spot that will make the arms 36 inch wide and 2 inches forward and put an X on the bench. Now I lay the arm and the tube down and find the correct place to cut. Cut and weld.
The lower arms just like above but I put the two tubes on the sled without the bushing. Then I line up the cut arms and tack weld to tubes. Check for correct fit, remove and weld.
Not to sophisticated but it was simple and quick.
DISCLAIMER - works for me but I am not recommending this as anything other than a test for me and if you get hurt I am not responsible.
X2 been thinking of trying this from the first pics of the skins
I thought maybe moving the top of the shock in frt of the mount would work and keep everything free
and aligned for full travel
did your tie rods work OK? most likelly with doing just a 2" foward
really need a cheap set of arms to try it on
