The outer lip of the bushing is 90% broken off, and the part of the bushing that slides into the control arm won't budge.

I want to get it out so I can replace it. I've tried to tap at it through the other end of the control arm with a long screwdriver, but the bushing is very thin; not much to grab onto. Any help or suggestions appreciated!

i would use a die grinder and cut a slice in the bushing so it can collapse in a bit for it to come out easier.

You guys rock! Out in less than 1 minute.
