Went to fire up the sled last weekend and found the battery dead. Put an overnight charge on it, turned over for less than a minute, dead again. Anyone know of a good aftermarket battery that may be lighter ?

Buy yourself an desulphating battery charger like the optimate III battery charger and plug it in.

I was going to suggest the oddysey battery but it is 12 lbs compard to the above lightweight. AGM is a good way to go and I see they have free shipping which is kinda nice. Going to that same website it calls for this battery though for the snowmobile application. This one is 15 lbs though I would go with the lighter one if weight is an issue.
