I called up Yamaha headquarters to see how many more weeks I will have to wait for the rubber boot for the RA cable. They couldn't tell me without the part #. Does anyone know what the part # is. Everyone who is still waiting for that part, call up Yamaha and voice your displeasure. Their phone # is: 1-800-962-7926. My dealer wouldn't put the new cable and protector bar in without the boot.
My dealer put on a new cable without the boot or protector. Mechanic said if the large boot and new style protector bracket were installed it would just break again. Boot is in parts manual and dealer shouldn't have any problem coming up with part number. I believe they are about $60!! I saw the mechanic look it up and get the price but didn't get the number as I DON"T WANT IT ON MY SLED. See ya next week Gordon
