New 999cc twin?

Yamaha has a new twin 999cc four stroke for there side by side..any chance of it going in a sled?

I'm not sure if it will reach the sled department but it sure is a hit on the new Wolverine R Maxx. It's beating the Polaris General.Kaw. KTX, and I even herd its giving the Honda Talon a run for its money. Yamaha needed this boost in there SXS line up and are selling a bunch of these units.

Seems like it would be perfect for a sled 8500rpm..i wonder the weight difference

Weight why’s no more then the phaser motor. Yamaha makes a 1200 twin for the super tenere an it has composite cylinders.

About 110hp at the back wheel and the bike is shaft drive. The motor isn’t high reving.
