About Us:

There's an old saying that "necessity is the mother of invention", and Diamond S Manufacturing epidomizes the phrase.

In 1998, after decades of riding, Diamond S owner Scott Stevens decided that stock sleds and products on the market did not meet his expectations. He spent a full year in the garage developing a hood that would shed pounds and boost air intake but still offer protection for the engine. The Neutrino Hood now sets the standard in ultra-light after-market hoods and is the most effective hood in it's class.

Once he had mastered the hood, he turned his attention to the chassis. After he perfected his ChroMolly chassis (which cut up to 50lbs off a stock sled), he decided that it still was not light enough. He spent a few months learning to weld Titanium, convinced it was the answer to the untimate lightweight chassis. He went on to build the worlds first Titanium tube chassis. They are now revered as the most high-performance chassis in the world.

Scott went on to build virtually every metal component of a snowmobile out of Aluminum, CroMolly or Titanium, and he now manufactures steering systems, Trailing Arms, Radius Rods and rear suspension systems from Titanium.
